Keywords:imitated debris, FP release

FP release behavior from a propellant debris is important not only for FP contamination in case of an accident but the radiation-levels estimation at the time of a debris ejection. In this study, we investigated the underwater elution of the main FP from the debris which imitated the debris deposited on the vessel lower part, and the release behavior to the atmospheric air. The results indicated that volatile FP(s), such as cesium and an iodine, are almost emitted outside at the time of a debris generation, and it is hard to remain in a debris. The part of strontium is stabilized and holded in the debris.
