Implementation of the function for generating thermal neutron scattering law data

On the purpose of generating scattering law data for various materials, a general-purpose code for thermal neutron scattering cross-sections has been developed by using molecular dynamics. In the present study, the function for generating thermal neutron scattering law is newly implemented in the code and scattering law data for several hydrogenous materials are generated. In the presentation, the method for generating scattering law data and the result for their application to the neutron transport code will be reported.
