Investigations on spatial dose rate survey data in Iitate Village have proved that the spatial-dose-rate changes in some area are remarkably less than the predicted ones from Cs 134/137 isotope decays. Assuming a weathering effect, its halflives have been derived from a fitting to the measured spatial dose rates.
