[3Q13] Investigation on distribution of radioactive substances in Fukushima

To understand the dynamics of radiocaesium dispersed by the accident of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, sampling of suspended sediment and observation of water level and turbidity were conducted in Abukuma River and the tributaries and small rivers in Hamadori district, Fukushima Prefecture. Declining tendency of concentration and discharge of radiocaesium showed a regional variation.
