[1C03] R&D and commissioning of the MIEZE-type neutron spin echo spectrometer at J-PARC MLF BL06
Keywords:Neutron spin echo spectroscopy, Quasi-elastic neutron scattering, Pulsed neutron beam, MIEZE, J-PARC MLF
In BL06, a beam line at the pulsed neutron source of the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility (MLF) at the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC) , the commissioning of neutron resonance spin echo spectrometers is in progress. Neutron spin echo method is the inelastic neutron scattering spectroscopy that distinguishes neutron velocity changes at the sample by utilizing the spin freedom of neutrons. In this presentation, we report on the R&D and the commissioning status of a type of neutron resonance spin echo spectrometer called “Modulation of Intensity by Zero Effort (MIEZE)” at BL06.
