Generation and diagnosis of ultra-short electron beams have been performed in order to improve the time resolution of the pulse radiolysis system at ISIR, Osaka University. In this study, the beam dynamics about the bunch compression was investigated by General Particle Tracer (GPT) in order to generate shorter electron beams. The details of the experiments and the simulation will be reported.
