Keywords:Accelerator-driven system, Deterministic method, Prompt neutron decay constant, Area ratio

In the subcriticality measurement for the accelerator-driven system (ADS), the prompt neutron decay constant is measured using the pulsed neutron method and the reactor noise analysis method. In addition, the area ratio, which corresponds to the subcriticality in dollar unit, is measured using the area ratio method (also called the Sjöstrand method). In this study, the numerical analysis method using the deterministic method are investigated for the prompt neutron decay constant and the area ratio, which are directly measurable values.
