[2H16] Laser Cutting of Steel Equipment with 30 kW Fiber Laser

It is necessary for the dismantling of aged nuclear power plants in our country to develop cutting and dismantling technique with more than 100 mm thick steel. Laser cutting is assumed one of the best technique because it makes applicable difference with high power fiber laser light. In previous presentation, we discussed the result from the thick steel cutting experiment in air employing 30 kW fiber laser cutting system. We will this timer report the optimization of the cutting parameter for thick steel and new result from the cutting of valve and so on, to start experiment for the actual equipment.
