A multi-dimensional two-phase thermal-hydraulic code, THERMOS-DPCOOL, is underway for evaluating coolability of the debris bed in the cavity or the lower head of the reacter pressure vessel under severe accidents. This code deals with heated porous media submerged in a two-phase flow pool. Formulation, algorithm and verification results will be reported in this presentation.
