This paper introduces the project plan to develop the BWR plant desktop simulator which covers the severe accident both during the operation condition and during the shutdown condition.
It is expected that the simulator can be used in a lot of situations like training, accident management (AM), and study of the severe accident (SA), and in the verification and validation (V&V) of the AM guidelines, and also in the probabilistic risk assessment (PRA).
