[3B10] Design of tritium gas cell for BIXS by Monte Carlo simulation

The beta-ray induced X-ray spectrometry (BIXS) is a promising candidate for gaseous tritium analysis. However, no gas cell for BIXS is commercially available. A gas cell should be design by oneself. In this presentation, an optimum X-ray window was designed by Monte Carlo simulation. The influence of self-absorption on a cell length was also considered.
