Due to the accident of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, surrounded land was polluted with radioactive material, and decontamination project is still going on. The decontaminated waste is inserted into flexble container packs. In the iterim storage facility, the new LED scintillation fiber dectector was developed in order to measure the radioactivity concentration of the waste in the packs with efficient and safe operations in the facility.
