We have proposed a rapid-detection method for radioactive cesium in air. In this time, we conducted the demonstration test in the ‘difficult-to-return zone’. As a result, the influence of environmental fluctuations on the detection performance was extremely small, and it was confirmed that 3 to 4 minutes measurement can realize the detection of 30 Bq/m3 even in the zone.
