[1D06] Chemical states of plutonium and gadolinium in fuel debris

(U, Zr, Ce)O2 and (U, Zr, Gd)O2 as simulated materials of the fuel debris under oxidized conditions were synthesized, where Ce is the simulated element of Pu. The chemical states of Ce and Gd in the oxidized simulated materials were studied.
