[1D10] Evaluation of fuel behaviors by using science-based Integrated models for MOX properties

(1)Evaluation of O/M redistribution

Keywords:MOX, O/M, irradiation, oxygen potential, oxygen diffusion

Redistribution of O/M ratio during irradiation was evaluated by using oxygen potential data and oxygen diffusion coefficient which were developed as part of science-based Integrated models for MOX properties. Equilibrium state of O/M redistribution at given temperature gradient has been often evaluated since the general understanding is that the oxygen diffusion is quick for the irradiation test. This work made quantitative analysis available such that O/M redistribution completes within an hour at 2000K while it would take hours ~ a day at 1000K.
