Palladium and zirconium may be released to the environment and/or disposed to the land after recycling and reuse from high-level radioactive waste. In order to estimate the radiation dose of public by these route, it is essential to obtain some parameters of the environmental behavior of these elements. In the present paper, the dissolution characteristics of ZrO2 bricks and metal palladium after the land disposure as well as the distribution coefficient, in cultivated Soil and forest soil.
