(10) Seven-year monitoring of the vertical distribution of radiocesium in forest soils after the FDNPP accident

We monitored the vertical distribution of ¹³⁷Cs in three forest soils in Kawamata Town. The migration from litter to mineral soil was more rapid than Chernobyl studies. The relaxation depth of ¹³⁷Cs concentration were constantly increasing in cedar forest sites with 0.08 cm y⁻¹, however there was no temporal increase in the mixed forest site.
