For the purpose of removing fuel debris from the Fukushima-Daiichi Nuclear Power Plants safely and smoothly, a criticality prevention technology using insoluble neutron absorbers is being developed. Evaluation results regarding effect of insoluble neutron absorbers on pH of a solution and hydrogen generation are reported.
