At the Kyoto University in December 1958 the Nuclear Research Committee was held. There, the proposed draft plan of the Integrated Atomic Energy Research Institute, which crosses the related faculties, chemistry laboratories, engineering laboratories, and Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, was examined. This is a different research organization concept from the Kansai Atomic Energy Research Institute (Kyoto University Research Reactor Institute later installed in Kumatori). We discuss the contents and significance of it and the relation between Hideki Yukawa.
