Hyperthermia combined with radiation therapy has proven to be effective for tumor treatment. By increasing the temperature, tumors become radiosensitive, resulting in the ability to reduce the radiation dose. Blood being a temperature regulator of our body makes it difficult to increase the temperature by an external means. Normal tissue and tumors have different cellular arrangement and as a result the heat deposition process is also different in both cases. Therefore, in the next phase of this experiment, we plan to observe the blood flow effect via mathematical calculations, computer simulation, and dynamic phantom.
