[2K10] Performance evaluation of atmospheric dispersion models for a nuclear accident

Uncertainties in the atmospheric dispersion simulations limit their applicability to the environmental assessment in nuclear field including emergency preparedness. The present study aims to characterize and evaluate the uncertainties of dispersion simulation by comparing results from state of the art models and measured data. Representability of surface concentration by the models is discussed for the 1F plumes evolved under relatively simple meteorological conditions
