[2K17] Development of ocean radiocesium distribution estimating system for recycling radiocesium-contaminated soil to coastal reclamation
Keywords:radiocesium contaminated soil, recycling, coastal reclamation, radionuclides distribution estimating system, dose estimation
Radiocesium-contaminated soil generated from decontamination activities after 1F accident is required to decrease the volume. Recycling as material of coastal reclamation is thought of to be one of the effective way. By reclamation constructing, dissolved radiocesium and absorbed radionuclides on soil particles flow out to the ocean. To estimate the doses by radionuclides in ocean in considering the both types radionuclides, we incorporate the sediment model suggested in OECD/NEA, 1985, which can treat the both types radionuclides in ocean interior and sea bed, with PASCLR code system to estimate both radionuclide migration in groundwater and doses for workers and the public. We assessed the radiocesium dispersion in ocean by recycling for the coastal reclamation, and conducted preliminary dose estimation. By the result, the major exposure pathways by recycling for the coastal reclamation are suggested.
