A muon catalyzed fusion (µCF) reaction has been studied as new energy and neutron sources. In the µCF cycle, nuclear fusion reactions take place in muonic molecule, but the formation processies of the muonic molecule are rate determining processes. In order to avoid the processes, we newly propose in-flight µCF (IFµCF) cycle based on muon atomic collision.
