Deuterium absorption and desorption behaviors have been investigated on graphite processed with mechanical alloying (MA). The morphology is simulated the carbon dusts produced on inner walls in a fusion reactor, which applies graphite for the plasma facing components. Deuterium was absorbed during the MA treatment, which varied the duration times. In the desorption experiments, TDS of deuterium was measured up to 1720 K, and the correlation with the particle size of carbon dusts was discussed.
