先端衝突部がパイプ形状と中実円柱形状の二種類の飛翔体を衝突速度33~52m/sの範囲でSS400鋼板に衝突させ、貫通の有無を実験的に確認した。既往の鋼板構造物の貫通限界厚評価式(BRL式)と実験結果を比較し、その適用性に関する基礎的検討を行った。
