An MA-Zr hydride target assembly has been currently designed to develop an MA nuclear transmutation system. The assembly is handled and transported in an atmospheric condition, and always managed by vertically standing position. In this study, the heat removal capability by air up-flow supplied to the assembly is examined through the thermal-hydraulics analysis.
