Laser-Gousing Decontamination Method with a line-laser has been under research to minimize radioactive wastes generated during maintenance, modification and decommission work of nuclear reactor by reducing radioactivity of the wastes downgrading and their clearance level.
This paper highlights the results of the experiments in its decontamination capability tests conducted with actual contaminated samples acquired from a PWR plant.
