STRAD(Systematic Treatments of RAdioactive liquid wastes for Decomissioing)プロジェクトの一環として、抽出後長期間を経過し劣化した廃溶媒からの金属物質の回収に、アルカリ溶液を適用することを試みた。高濃度の劣化成分を含む著しく劣化したTRUEX廃溶媒から核燃料物質を回収可能であることを確認した。
