As a basic study on reduction of hydrogen concentration for radioactive waste long-term storage containers, a hydrogen recombination catalyst in which platinum was supported on the spherical geopolymer was prepared. We compare the catalyst in which platinum is supported on alumina spheres and the geopolymer catalyst and report its characteristics.
