We are developing a method to solidify the secondary waste generated from contaminated water treatment of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. We report on a novel method to achieve high waste filling ratio by mineralization using sodium aluminate and silica as material using geopolymer technology with excellent properties such as resistance to dissolution and radiation resistance.
