In the diagnostic flow (draft) of the alkali aggregate reaction which JNES proposed in 2014, it was proposed to perform various petrological evaluation and accelerated expansion test of the core for concrete memvers suspected of ASR(Alkali-aggregate reaction).
In this research, as a verification of the effectiveness of the accelerated expansion test, the alkaline solution immersion method and the JCI-DD 2 method were carried out using cores collected from specimens with different types of aggregate and total alkali. As a result of the obtained test, it was considered difficult to predict the future expansion behavior of the structure only by the accelerated expansion test.
