エンドピースからの炭素14の放出等、処分の安全評価に資するため、既存の評価モデルやパラメータ、CASTプロジェクト等の海外知見や課題を整理し、必要な分析等、今後の試験計画を策定した。また、分析等に供する照射済みエンドピースを選定し、基本的な材料特性や照射条件を把握した。
