[1E05] Physical properties of molten core materials

(1)Surface tension of ZrO2 measured by aerodynamic levitation technique

*Toshiki Kondo1, Yuji Ohishi1, Hiroaki Muta1 (1. Osaka university)

Keywords:molten core material, aerodynamic levitation technique, surface tention

When the fuel is melted, a U-Zr-O melt composed of U, Zr, O may be formed. In this research, we focused on ZrO2 among them and measured the surface tension of molten ZrO2 by using the gas floating method.
