[1F10] Modeling of anisotropic molten debris spreading and simulation of ECOKATS test

*Akitoshi Hotta1, Miyuki Akiba1, Akinobu Morita1 (1. Nuclear Regulation Authority)

Keywords:melt spreading, anisotropic, MSPREAD, THERMOS, ECOKATS

Based on spreading behavior of the simulated molten debris observed in the ECOKATS test carried out at KIT, the mechanisms of anisotropic spreading were investigated and several models were proposed. These models were impleented in MSPREAD, one of modules of THERMOS code, and an analysis was performed to reproduce the spreading behavior of ECOKATS test results.
