This is a report of the last eight years of class-on-demand "radiation and HLW Geological disposal education" in elementary schools in Japan. The class was taught basic knowledge through lecture, experiments and discussion followed by presentation. The participants’ idea change were observed through open-ended questionnaire which were given before, during and after the class.
