In this study, we focused on chromatography as a pretreatment method to isolate Sm (III) from treated water for evaluation of ALPS treatment performance. From the results of this study, the possibility of Sm (III) isolation was shown by stepwise changing the nitric acid concentration using the HDEHP impregnated adsorbent.
