Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), which have gained interest in recent years, are being developed under the basic concepts such as low investment risk, high passive safety performance, remote use, flexible energy supply, and low manufacturing and construction costs. In this session, the reactor physics in SMR development will be outlined, and then the overview of SMR development will be introduced by plant manufacturers.
