1F では従来の原子力発電所とは異なる，事故に由来した多種多様な廃棄物が発生している。1号機PCV内底部の滞留水中に存在する堆積物や，2号機TIP配管内の閉塞物は高い線量率を示した。これらの汚染状況や汚染由来を推定するため，化学分析等を行い，核種の由来を評価した。
化学分析で得られる元素組成、核種組成から、汚染由来を推定する方法を検討する。汚染由来起源として評価基準元素、核種（燃料：U-238、構造材：FeやCo-60、燃料被覆管：Zrなど）を想定し、解析値と分析値の比較から推定する方法について報告する。
