[2F15] Study to evaluate operating limit of isolation condenser during hydrogen injection

Although isolation condenser (IC) is applied to unit 1 of Fukushima-daiichi nuclear power plant as passive core cooling system, the IC had failed to restart after station blackout occurred. In this study, we focused on hydrogen effects that is one of the main causes of restart failure of the IC. We conducted experiments simulating IC to evaluate the operating limit during non-condensable gas injection.
