Zeolite column tests conducted using simulating spent salt containing strontium exhibited some of the strontium in the salt was absorbed by the zeolite columns. Furthermore, by comparing the experimental results with calculation results on the basis of a mass transfer model, validity of the kinetic parameters used in the calculation was verified.
