Ceramic coatings have been investigated to prevent tritium permeation and improve corrosion resistance to liquid breeders. In our previous study, improvement of corrosion resistance by layering was proposed. In this study, various multi-layer coatings were fabricated and exposed to lithium-lead under static conditions to investigate the effects of layer structure on lithium-lead compatibility.
