[2L17] Preliminary investigation of impurities elimination on the reuse process of neutron multipliers for fusion application

Beryllium and beryllium alloys are supposed to be replaced by new every two or five years with a blanket system while those will be loaded with more than 400 tons as neutron multipliers for a blanket system of fusion reactors. However, since huge amounts of multipliers load every time to replace by, establishment of a mass production process including a recycling process of beryllium and its alloys is indispensable from viewpoint of an economic perspective. In this study, preliminary investigation results on impurities, contents and elimination process will be reported.
