(15)Basic physical property evaluation of UO2-CaO solid solution

UO2-CaO solid solution phase may be generated in MCCI products. Therefore, UO2-CaO solid solution bulk sample was prepared, and the influence of the solid solution of CaO on the thermal and mechanical properties of UO2 was evaluated by thermal diffusivity measurement by laser flash method and Vickers hardness test.
