The uranium-containing particles, as observed in the sample obtained in the PCV interior of Fukushima Daiichi NPP have different structures and compositions from particle to particle. We attempted consider the generation mechanisms based on characterization of the particles. It is considered that some particles were generated from droplets of reactor core melt and others were formed through vapor-condensation.
