The Radiation Science and Technology Subcommittee has established a working group (WG) that conducts activities to review simple calculation code used for radiation shielding design or safety review. The WG has recently published a report summarizing the first period of activities that took place from 2016 to 2017. We will report the summary including history of the meeting and other events, formulation and progress of WG action plan, initiatives and results obtained, and also discuss on the development of the next period currently in progress.
