[1G13] Proposal of laser Compton scattering gamma-ray beam line for the next generation synchrotron radiation facility

The next generation of synchrotron radiation facility with an electron energy of 3 GeV has been planned. A laser Compton scattering gamma-ray beam line for the facility has been proposed to study fundamental science such as quantum optics, quantum electrodynamics, nuclear physics, elemental particle physics. We discuss expected parameters of the generated gamma rays and possible subjects.
