We evaluated a prediction method for void fraction in a vertical pipe under flooding conditions by using data with D = 20 mm by Shimamura et al. (2018). It was confirmed that void fraction obtained with the correlation for the wall friction coefficient and the measured pressure gradient agreed relatively well with the data.
