In order to evaluate the effect of gamma-ray irradiation on metal surface wettability under a subcritical condition with a temperature of 320 centigrade and pressure of 21 MPa, a capillary action of a nitrogen gas-water system in small pipes with inner-diameters ranging from 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm were observed using a neutron radiography.
