The authors study on the geometry of inherently safe sodium-cooled fast spectrum reactor that has negative compaction reactivity during CDA. In previous presentation, the core geometry modification to enlarge molten pool area, and its effect on the compaction reactivity were introduced. This time, the neutron absorbing material is installed in the LAB region in inner-core.The negative compaction reactivity is achieved to have sub-criticality for partial-core melt.
