The lead-cooled fast reactor has a very hard neutron spectrum, which reduces reactivity and power distribution changes, leading to simplicity of CR operations. In this work, a simple one-zoned core has been studied to evaluate neutronic characteristisc such as the operation period, coolant-void reactivity and discharge fuel burnup.
